VICTORY FOR TROUBLED YOUTH
VICTORY BEHIND BARS
Victory Behind Bars
Greetings in the name above all names, the Lord Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, and, I hope, yours. It's been a great pleasure to serve him for over 38 years, and by his grace, though I turned 70 this past February 28, I'm still going. Thank you for praying for us. Thank you for supporting us.
I've been asked how the ministry goes. How many professions of faith? In January of this year, though I usually don't count, we had 34 who said they got saved. Now, as you know, only the Lord can see the heart, but I was asked, so I kept up with it in January.
On a sad note, my friend, my brother in Christ, my neighbor, a supporter of this work, whom I have known since 1984, passed away March 10. I had the privilege of preaching his funeral. But his friendship and support is going to be missed.
At this writing, the work has been stopped. I think you know why. The Corona virus scare has caused all the facilities to which I go, to stop letting us in. As of now, it's until after Easter. But only God knows what will happen. Pray that the doors to these places will open soon.
We do greatly appreciate your prayers. It keeps us going.
Another prayer request: please continue to pray for my wife. She is still going to therapy for the fall she had last June. There has been much progress, but there is still a good way to go. Also, pray our daughter Shannyn. She has an aortic aneurism in the same place our son David had his. He is doing well now.
Our contact in remains the same. My number is 704-798-9906. Sandy's number is 205-258-9809. Victory Baptist is 334-285-5082.
The VFTY Bible Fund is; $1.00. Of course with doors shut to the juvenile, we won't be using many Bibles for a while.
We thank you all for all your prayers. Prayer works.
