Man plans, but God disposes. Napoleon learned that hard lesson at Waterloo, but it is a truth that all Christians should know. We had planned to take a trip down south encouraging those is in the works the Lord has helped us get started. We made it as far as Thomasville, GA where Victory Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Church there have the work going in the RYDC there. They go in on Monday nights.

Before we left on the trip, I had my yearly check up with my dermatologist. In 2009 I had two cases of melanoma skin cancer, but over time my visits to him had become yearly. On Wednesday before we left that Saturday, he took a biopsy of a spot on my back. That Monday the doctor’s office called and wanted to know if I could come in that day or the next. Well the nurse can’t tell the why of it. So, after preaching in the juvenile center that night, and see several of the boys get saved, that Tuesday we decided to head back to Montgomery. On the way back the doctor called and said, yes, it is melanoma again, but it was like the first two, only skin deep. Praise the Lord! So, he had me come in that Thursday and he cut it out but, since that was my third case of melanoma, he also scheduled me to see an oncologist. I did, and the oncologist said everything looks good, and I don’t need to see him again, unless more cancer is found in my checkups, which for the next 2 years will be every 3 months. Thank you for praying.

While here at home we are privileged to have many preaching opportunities. We go to a juvenile center on Sunday mornings in Montgomery, AL. On Monday nights to a juvenile center in Prattville, AL. On Tuesday nights to another juvenile center in Montgomery, on Wednesday nights to the Jail in Selma, AL, and on Friday nights to the juvenile center in Selma, AL. I’m asking the Lord to give us more preaching places behind bars. Please pray with us on this. If the Lord doesn’t open the doors, we can’t get in, but how shall they hear without a preacher?

Also, if you can help with Bibles we’d sure appreciate it. Right now we have $317.00 in our VFTY Bible Fund. Remember I told you I’d be doing more preaching, travelling less, but needing more Bibles. Our fund is kept by our church, Victory Baptist Church in Millbrook, AL. The fund address is the same as our support address: PO Box 1090, Millbrook, AL 36054. But instead of sending it to Victory for Troubled Youth, send, for Bibles, to VFTY Bible Fund.

Thank you all for your support and prayers.
