VICTORY FOR TROUBLED YOUTH
and VICTORY BEHIND BARS

06/25/2015

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! You prayed, we prayed, and the Lord opened the door! What door is that? The Pike County Jail in Troy, ALÖthatís what. For over 6 months we prayed. Olivia P was the warden. In that time I talked to her once, though I called many times. About 3 weeks ago I called again, and they told me she had retired, but they have a new warden, Kenneth D. The person on the phone, asked did I want to talk to the warden? Did I? He came on the phone and told me they lock the jail down at 6PM, but if I wanted to come during the day, they could use me. He offered me Mondays at 2PM. Iíve gone there the last 2 Mondays, and 7 men have said they trusted Jesus Christ to save them! Itís an old, old building, but souls there were waiting to hear what Jesus Christ did to save them.

So, we continue to go to juvenile on Sunday mornings at 8, Monday night at 6, Tuesday night at 6, and Friday night at 7. Also, the Dallas County Jail in Selma on Wednesday night at 6.
Now, folks I want you to pray for another warden, Mike H. He is warden at the Elmore County Jail in Wetumpka, AL. Iíve been calling him for over 6 months. Iíve talked to him twice. Once he promised a meeting with all volunteers, that was last fall. The meeting has not come about. Then again I talked with him, and he said he hadnít forgotten me. But, still the souls there are waiting. How shall they hear without a preacher? Now, there is one Bible believer going in there on Thursday nights. He goes to one pod. There are about 10 pods there. The field is white unto harvest. Pray the Lord will open that door.

Continue to pray for my wife. The doctor found she was recovering from mono. (The kissing disease, but the only one she has kissed is me!). The doctor said there other ways to contract it. But do pray for her. She has little energy to keep going. At this writing she is some better, though.
