                VICTORY FOR TROUBLED YOUTH
                VICTORY BEHIND BARS

9/06/2019

Greetings in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the coming King of kings, and Lord of lords, who is my Savior, and I hope, yours. We are thankful for many things that our Lord has provided. I'm thankful that my wife, after over 2 and 1/2 months in rehab is showing much improvement. The 16th of this month she goes back to the surgeon in Birmingham for a checkup. Pray that the femur and knee are completely healed. I know my God CAN do it, I just don't know if he WILL.

As far as the ministry is concerned, we've run into a road block at Mt. Meigs. We went at 5:30 PM about 3 weeks ago for DYS training on sex abuse. We got there, and all of us that have been going there for years, were not allowed in. Not even for the DYS training. After much back and forth we finally, about a week ago were given the training in a building off the campus. Now we await the national back ground clearance. We were told that all those who go to Autauga HIT will have to go through the same process, as well as those who go to Vacca in Birmingham. I've faced this many time in the past. It takes a lot of patience and prayer to get through it, and the souls of these youth are worth it.

I also take care of my 79-year-old neighbor and brother in the Lord. Right now, he is going to radiation 5 days, every other day. He has no wife and no children. His name is Jimmy, so if you'd pray for him, I'd appreciate it. He lives on his own, but can't see to drive so I take him to all his doctor appointments and such. So, I take him to dialysis 3 days a week. But, believe or not, this does not interfere with our ministry. In fact, he supports us.
Thank you all so much for praying for us, and this work. Only in heaven will we know the results of all the prayer and support. But we do thank you so much.
