VICTORY FOR TROUBLED YOUTH
VICTORY BEHIND BARS
Thank you all for
praying for this ministry. Without God's people praying, the work could
not go on. Forgive me for not getting a prayer letter out, more often. I
shall try to do better in the future.
The work goes on. It's not unusual to see youth coming to the Lord Jesus for salvation. I would that more did, but we're going to keep telling them.
I'll ask you to pray for the work on Tuesday nights. We go to Mt Meigs in Montgomery on that night, and we could use at least 3 more workers. Of course, our Lord said the laborers are few. And, pray for the work on Sunday mornings. In that juvenile center, we usually need two workers, because they separate the younger from the older. Often, I go alone, and one group doesn't have a service that morning.
If you remember, some months ago I asked you to pray about the Bibb Correctional Facility, that I could get a ministry there. Keep praying. The chaplain has not been returning my calls.
Pray for my family. My wife's health has not been good lately. Her strength is not as it should be. One doctor thinks she might have lupus.
Our son David is still carrying that aortic aneurysm, that has grown to 4.9 cm. We found out a few weeks ago that our daughter has the same thing. Her's is at 4.1. We now believe that this is a inherited problem. My mother died in1974 of what they thought was a heart attack. Back then there wasn't much known about aortic aneurysms. But her symptoms, back then, were much like our son's. So, pray for our family. This problem could show up in our grandchildren, or our great grandchildren. Only the Lord Jesus has power to change things.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
